『私とその部下38名が現世に行く事を許されたのは実に二百数十年ぶりの事だ。
その間に人の世は大きく変わったが、我らがする事には何の変りも無い。
生身の人を喰らい、力を蓄え、また常世に戻り仕事を再開する。人間で言う所の休暇というものだ。
いくら鬼とはいえ地獄で延々と亡者の相手をしていては気が滅入る。
今回の休暇も何時も通り問題なく進んでいた。我等が腹を満たすだけの人間がいる村に狙いを定め、包囲し、寝静まった深夜に襲い掛かる。
若干の抵抗もあったがほぼ損害無く食事を進める事が出来た。
邪魔が入ったのは夜明け近くになってからだ。突然の爆発に10人近くの部下が倒れ、続く銃撃で更に犠牲が出た。
村人とは違う、状況を把握した組織的な攻撃。
部下達は混乱しつつも反撃に出たが、喚きながら走り回るだけで誰一人敵を見つけられないまま倒されていく。
鬼は力では人に勝るが兵法にあっては完全な素人だ。
武器を持ち、戦う術に長けた人間に囲まれれば勝ち目は無い。
力で押す事も数で潰す事も出来ないこの余りにも不利な状況に、私は撤退を決意した。
だが、その時には残っている鬼は私一人になっていた。
そして今、私は人間に捕らえられている。
奇妙な白い輪で両手両足を縛られ、更には足を撃ち抜かれ人間の前に跪いている。
これから私はどうなるのだろうか・・・』

ある部隊が敵性集落攻撃の為に待機してた所、鬼達が先に村を襲撃。
部隊は村が全滅するのを待ってからこの奇妙な乱入者に対して攻撃を加えた

といった感じで。捕らえた一人は収容所に送られﾊﾞｳﾜｰな尋問を受けた後、離島の実験施設へ送られた

らしいです。

"This is the first time in more than 200 years that I and 38 of my underlings have been permitted to enter the real world.
During that time the world of humans has changed greatly, but there has been no change in what we do.
We eat living flesh, gather strength and then return to the nether world to begin work again. It is what humans would call a break.
Even though we are demons, living forever in the company of the dead in hell gets old.
This break was going the same as always. We decided on a village that had enough humans to satisfy us, surrounded it and then attacked in the dead of night.
Sure there was a little resistance, but for the most part we were able to enjoy our meal in peace.
The trouble didn't start until it was near dawn. A sudden explosion took out 10 of my underlings, and more victims fell to heavy gunfire.
Not the work of villagers, this was a coordinated attack matched to the situation.
Confused, my underlings went out to strike back but were left running in circles and muttering when not a single enemy could be found.
Demons are more powerful than humans, but we are novices when it comes to tactics.
Surrounded by humans packing weapons and proficient in military arts, there would be no chance of victory.
In this unfavorable position, unable to push back by force or crush them with numbers, I ordered the retreat.
But by that time I was the only demon left.
And now I have been captured by the humans. My hands and feet are bound in white rings, and with my legs injured by bullet I am kneeling before the humans.
What will happen to me now?"

When a military unit was on alert waiting to attack a hostile village, demons attacked the village first.
The unit waited for the village to be wiped out before in turn attacking the strange invaders
...or something of the sort. The one captured demon is sent to a camp, subjected to Jack Bauer-style interrogation, and sent to an experimental facility on an isolated island....

....apparently.
