This creative artbook is a visual retelling of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland through art, with each scene of this classic novel being drawn by several different artists. Many of us have drawn our scene based on our own reimagined theme, so it is an artbook filled with many unique interpretations of Alice and her Wonderland.

For my drawing, I chose to reimagine the story in Meiji Era Japan, where Wonderland is a fusion of old and new, a mix of eastern and western cultures. The original scene I illustrated was the very moment Alice stepped into the beautiful garden she so desired to explore upon first entering Wonderland. So in my Meiji era reinterpretation, Alice has just wandered into the most extraordinary Japanese garden of ever-changing seasons.
