A huge aircraft carrier heading west
On the evening of November 28, 1944, the huge aircraft carrier Shinano sails off the coast of Yokosuka, at the southern tip of the Miura Peninsula. It departs Yokosuka to carry out final outfitting work in Kure. She heads out into the Pacific Ocean under strict anti-submarine vigilance.
