You did get it back, didn't you?
Guess who’s enjoying the handheld version of her favorite Zelda game ever? Yeah, that’s right. It’s me! Though I haven’t had much time to play it yet, and when I play Majora’s Mask I play for full completion, so it’s gonna take a while at this pace.
Man I love this game. It really is one of my all-time favorite games, and has been since it first came out when I was a kid. It was the first Zelda game I played all on my own, since my brother’s wouldn’t let me have a save file on Ocarina of Time. So Ocarina doesn’t really have a lot of personal nostalgia or anything for me since I didn’t play it until I was older. But even without the nostalgia factor, I just think MM is a better game with better stories and more complexity. Also, I really love that Ganon isn’t even in the game. Not that I dislike Ganon, it’s just refreshing to have a zelda game without him from time to time. And with the updated graphics on the 3DS the game looks absolutely lovely. And it really makes me miss the games where you get to play as kid Link. I mean, I like adult Link as much as the next person, but there’s just something so charming about kid Link. And to me, it makes the world and the monsters seem so much more imposing when you’re playing as a little kid.
Anyhoo, I decided to sketch the Mask Salesman because his character really fascinates me. Seriously, I love hearing all the different theories about this guy. He’s super interesting and holds a firm place among my favorite Zelda characters.
