One Who Wavers in the Dark
All senses were muffled. I could sense only the stone fragment as black as shadow, which allowed me to at least know this was reality. Where and when was I? Who was I? "I need nothing else, just strength." A slight inkling. The stagnation turned to pain. No, I didn't need a heart that could feel pain. I hadn't yet abandoned enough. Leaving joy and sorrow behind, I plunged myself into deeper darkness. (Kudanstein's monologue)
