There was a voice within me that I could not ignore, crying out for me to forsake the vestments of the Court Mage in order to protect this world. "Even if it means...that I can never go back." I used to think that the world had gone easy on me, but that world was only one small part of something greater, something so cold and dark that I didn't want to believe that it was real. I worry that I am not strong enough to take on this battle alone. However, I cannot turn away from the resolve that has sprung to life within my soul. I will protect this world.
