Ranch Hand Pistols
An old semi-automatic, the Browning 1900 was produced in large numbers by FN Herstal. What it lacks in ergonomics it makes up for in availability. It uses a 7-round magazine.
The Savage Model 1907 is a semi-automatic pistol with a 10-round magazine. Its compact size and simple construction set it apart from its rivals.
The Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless is a semi-automatic pistol with an 8-round magazine. Its accuracy and good handling have earned it recognition, though it is rather expensive for a .32 handgun.
The Smith & Wesson Model 10 is one of the most common revolvers, and is used by a variety of law enforcement and military forces, as well as civilians.
All Colt cylinders turn to the right, distinguishing revolvers such as the Police Positive from their Smith & Wesson counterparts. Additionally, this weapon is slightly more accurate than the Model 10, and its worksmanship and finish fetch a high price.
The Colt M1911 is the defining semi-automatic handgun of its era. The 7+1 plump .45 ACP rounds are known for punching large holes in targets, while the weapon's slim shape makes it easy to carry. Some call it the pinnacle of pistol technology.
The Colt New Service is a revolver designed for the military and shares its ammo with the M1911. Compared to the M1911, it lacks capacity and has more recoil, but it's also more reliable and slightly more accurate. It's not a superior weapon, but it has its place.
