Could it be pronounced "kougi"?hakugi
Not much to explain here other than the word being obscure and hard to guess the reading of if you haven't seen it before.
Amatsukage guessed that the reading for the first character, 駮, was kou, likely based on it containing the character 交 which is indeed read as kou. But the character is instead read as haku, and the word itself means "to criticize the ideas of others."
