This Tomori with her pose and puppy eyes stimulates the urge to protect more than usual. It's a convient reason to draw cool Taki doing just that. (I should draw her cool face more often, I usually focus on the flustered look).

Also drawing these outfits was quite tricky from just this ref. I most certainly got some things wrong😗
One thing I almost missed was that Taki is wearing a single glove.
