Kusuriuri gets a post all to himself because he has three times as many pieces in him as all the others, CHRIIIIIIST.
It's a shame that so few people seem to have heard of Mononoke/Ayakashi. It's one of my favorite anime series, and the most beautiful, visually striking work I've ever seen. Actually, the reason I became interested in paper-cutting was because it seemed like such a fitting medium to use for Mononoke fanart. The whole reason was for this thing here. ^_^
Mononoke is a beautiful, atmospheric set of supernatural vignettes. It's about a man (...?) who travels through the Edo countryside, speaking slowly and cutting down demons.
Y'all should watch it. :)
