Ochako's forearm looks borderline ScAnDaLoUs and the reason why that is, is because I took a lot of reference off of Vermeer's painting, The Milkmaid
I find it really neat that the painting is set in this realism, it's unfiltered and unflattering but the slight lift in tone+

at the base of her forearm is almost like a siren, calling you to look, to feel.
And it's not that it's conventionally attractive either. She's not thin, her clothes don't bring out her body, she's plain as can be+

but still I'm drawn to the gentle femininity that contrasts the stiff folds of her sleeves.
And that's kinda what I wanted to do for this drawing. To take the sharp, hard planes of muscle and scale, and contrast that with softness and welcoming arms
