The Distance Between Us
28 colors. 10 hours. 2 layers!
One last detailed piece before the year is over!
edit: After a night to sleep on it, and look at it again... I realized the composition might be a little confusing, haha. I was getting a little cross-eyed myself. @__@. SO! I'll give you guys a little hint! The objects on the horizon line--where the moon can be perfectly halved and where it is blurred out by the clouds--can be seen in two different ways: as the horizon for the boy, or as the background for the girl. And vice versa. I did this to put as much distance between the two characters as possible within that 100x200 block of space, but also to give a sense of movement. A lot of the composition was a happy accident, so even though much of the connections were unintended, my idea for the piece wasn't put in jeopardy by my spontaneity. C:
That's all I have to give you! Have fun interpreting the story between these two as you wish!
I have also fixed the composition on the outside a little bit, so that the empty area the clouds reach into looks a little better. Plus other things to give me peace of mind, haha. No worries, they're all only differences I would notice anyway... <__<
