Usually treasure upgrades are given convenient explanations as to why they work, such as a globe hemisphere having an embedded microchip or an action figure made out of some kind of super-alloy.
But not this bad boy.
Apparently mere possession of this giant fist statue grants you the ability to inflict more pain. The Ship mentioned something about rocket boosters, but I still can't figure it out...
