The recent planetary conflicts of New Eden have given rise to vast demand in a new breed of capable cruisers.

The Storm was originally a single man project undertaken by an engineer to start his own manufacturing corporation.
It was meant to be a technological example to show what he was capable of.
When the Planetary Run was announced a drastic decision was made by the people funding his prject.
Development had to be totally reoriented and a team had to be hired.
The only things from the original design that made it to production were the highly advanced sensor system and high yield warp drive.
A communication mast was added as well as reinforced frontal armor plating.
Due to its speed and fast locking system, its able to fire several missiles and lasers before the opponent even has time to get a lock.
As a versatile ship, thanks to its speed, sensors and good armor its able to act as a scout and hold off the enemy long enough while a support fleet on standby can easily warp to the scene of engagement.

After his brainchild was hacked into a machine of war, the mysterious engineer disappeared.

Some say he is down but not out....
