I conclude that I am much better suited to coloring daytime backgrounds than nighttime ones. I tried to mimic the NT9 228-229 colorized illustration's "look", but how I came to that method in the past is now lost in the annals of time. Two versions here, one is with a much more "uniform" ambiance or something.
