It's Willy's Jeep
A Willy's Jeep to celebrate Market Garden's anniversary. We'll have a mini series throughout the week like we did with D-Day earlier this year. Later in October we'll have a Yom Kippur War(Ramadan war, October war, whatever you decide to call it) series as well. Though tbh, you can't look up a single thing on it without the inevitable shitstorm.
This includes but not limited to, the Israelis who think it was a work of "god", The Christians(mostly in the US) who think it was a work of "God", The Egyptians who somehow think they won(lol), the Iraqis who insist that the Events of September 1980 are a way larger accomplishment, and the hardcore Nasserists who say "we'll defeat them next time, you watch!" despite the fact that they've been saying that since 1948.
But back to the topic at hand, our history lesson for today!
Not much that I need to tell you about the Willy's jeep, its the Willy's jeep! The Real OG before the Wrangler even existed. Though the Suzuki Samuria is a nice ride too, and vintage at that.
Also, if you haven't seen A Bridge Too Far yet go ahead and watch it. It really is an outstanding film(and that's coming from a guy who dislikes war movies as a whole). I do have issues with how some characters are portrayed, and it gives me the impression that those who were alive during the time the movie was made simply passed the blame for the Operation's failure to those who had already passed away.
Anyway, hope ya'll are doing well. Also, what country should the Leopard 2 Drawing be for?
