The neighborhood onee-san often gives me candy.
Apparently, a while ago, the teacher and the parent-teacher association recognized her face, and she realized that if she pretended to be my mother and came for my parent-teacher visits, she would be turned away. She is now firmly established as my older sister.
She is not my sister.
