「だまし絵　ドクロ」とかで検索するとおわかりいただけるかと思うんですけど、みんななんかにつけてドクロに見立てた絵描くじゃん。あんまりにも多すぎて、じゃあいっそ逆にドクロでなんか縁起いいもの描けねえのかってなって始まった絵です。結局力技もいいとこなんだけど、まあやるだけやりました。俺は長い時間かけて描いただけあって天使がくっきり見えるんですけど、初見だとパッと見でわかったりするんですかね？こういう絵ちょいちょい描きますが、どこまであからさまにするべきかは毎回迷います。たぶん正解ないよ。

だまし絵とか隠し絵ってドクロとか縁起悪いもんを隠しがちよな。そうしたくなる心理はなんとなくわからんでもないんだけど、もっとテンション上がるような縁起いいもん隠してある絵ーがあってもいいんじゃねえかとは思います。

If you search for something like "Skull optical illusion", I think it's obvious but they're all drawings of something that composes a skull. There are so many of these that I thought "Why not instead draw something that's a good omen made out of skulls?" and that's where this drawing started. It turned out to be no mean feat, to put it mildly, but I got through it at any rate. After spending so much time on drawing it, the angel stands out very obviously to me, but I wonder if you'd catch that at first glance. I draw things like this from time to time, but I still struggle to figure out how obvious I should make them each time. There's probably no right answer.

Optical illusions and hidden image drawings usually hide something ominous like a skull. It's not like I don't understand what drives someone to want to do that, but I also don't think it would hurt to have one drawing that hides something that's a good omen to raise your spirits either.
