（これは神原評で、阿良々木くんは扇ちゃんのことを人工甘味料のような
まがいものそのものの女と言っていた）だったんですが

そこからこのキャラデザって相当攻めてるよなーと思った当時。

ヒロインという前提でデザインした子ではなかったのかもしれない特にアニメ
（くらやみの擬人化とかそういう方向だったのでは）

This is how Oshino Ougi was described when she first arrived in the orignal story:
"Araragi said 'Acording to Kanbaru, Ougi-chan was just like an artificially sweetened imitation girl'".

Her character design is really not one of a heroine's, particularly in an anime.
(I suppose that makes sense for the anthropomorphization of "the Darkness")
