「よぉし、カレーをさがしに いこう！」メッソンたちの覚悟は決まった。
しばらく留守にすることを 親しい子たちだけに話す。大人はきっと止めるだろうから…。
しかし 話を聞くやサルノリ君「それなら オイラもいくぜ！」と息をまく。
　メッソンたちは 慌てて止める。
「サルノリくんもいっしょならうれしいけど…きっとおじさんがしんぱいするよ⁉」
　サルノリ君が指笛を吹くと 颯爽と一匹のモクローが舞い降りた。
小さくても 鳥のポケモンには つい身がすくんでしまうメッソンたち…。
「この モクローの“もずく” が オイラたちのいばしょを とーちゃんたちに
　つたえにとんでくれっから　でーじょうぶだ☆」
たぶん 帰ってきたらすごく叱られるだろうし 何が“でーじょうぶ”なのかは分からないけど
カレー探索隊 ここに結成 出発だ！

ヒバニーのバモラ君の話では この池から流れる川を南に行くと町があるらしい…。
足の遅いメッソンたちは 川の中を、サルノリ君は土手を進む。
新メンバー もずく も空からサポートしてくれるぞ！

"All right, let's go find some curry!" The Sobble Brothers had made up their minds.
They told only their closest friends that they were going. The grownups would only try to stop them, after all.
When Grookey heard about their plan, he decided he wanted to come, too.
The others weren't sure that was a good idea.
"We'd love to have you, but won't your dad worry about you?"
Grookey put his fingers in his mouth and whistled. A moment later, a Rowlet came flying down from the sky.
At first, the Sobble were afraid. Was this little bird pokemon dangerous?
"This is Rowly. He can fly back and let everyone know where we are. No problemo☆!"
They'd probably get in trouble once they got back, but that was a problemo for another time.
With that, the Curry Squad set out on their adventure!

Scorch said his city was somewhere south of the lake, so they decided to follow the river.
The Sobble swam, and Grookey ran along the bank.
And their new friend Rowly kept watch from the air.
