There are trig functions and all coming up in the calculations! I'm was all like "What the heck's a 'root mean squared value'!?"
Even if I used an arduino, determining the voltage worried me. I didn't draw it in the strip, so I'll note here that I put the measurement into a loop for about 5000 times and then took the average value. Even in a single round, the value differed depending on the timing of the measurement! It's because of AC! Damn you, Nikola Tesla!
If you don't square each values, the average becomes almost 0. Because it's AC! The arduino actually can only measure 0-5V, though, so I padded the values by about 2.5V. (^^;)
