The full circle, aye?

Here’s my contribution to 20th pokemon anniversary. Was going to post it tomorrow’s night but it’s not the first they thwart my plans with their announcements (previously, my precious leak that I had been working on for like 6 months, oh well).

Some of the painting progress could be seen on my Twitter. And there also were 3 videos uploaded on YouTube - Bulbasaur / Charmander / Squirtle. I also have the video of painting the 3DS but for now it will remain on my computer. The picture was started in FireAlpace (sketches of the pokemon) and continued and finished in GIMP (the rest of the progress). I wonder if some will notice the retro details I smuggled here?

Big thanks my friends and to MrsVolv for being my ‘test audience’ and for providing helpful advices for that damn 3DS.

Anyway, have you heard about the Direct and leaks? Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon is apparently the thing now. I have the feeling the games will be N3DS exlusive with some pokes available through NX.
