パセラやカラオケの鉄人などで使われているシステムのはしりですね。
このあたりから、カラオケの待ち合わせにカラオケに行くようなことが始まりました。
この頃はまだ早苗さんとは出会ってません。

ちなみに昨日の４コマの「歌本」とは、歌える曲と、それを入力するためのコードが記されたインデックスです。
いまもフロントとかに海外曲のリストなんかが置かれてたりしますね。
新曲が追加されるたびに白いページにシール式の曲リストを貼り付けたりしてました。

I get the feeling that Sega Karaoke wasn't in among them, but being able to sing on pretty much all the models was Heaven.

This was the start of systems used by places like Pasela and Karaoke no Tetsujin. It was from about this time that I began going to karaoke meet-ups and karaoke. I hadn't yet met Sanae-san at this point.

By the way, the "songbook" mentioned in yesterday's strip is an index in which are listed the songs you can sing and the codes for them that you input. Even now, lists of foreign songs and such are left at places like the front desk. Every time a new song's been added, they've pasted an adhesive label-type song list onto a blank sheet.
