Hey, remember that thing about CPU reproduction thing that I discussed about with a few of you guys? Yeah. That's where this was from.
However, while it was supposed to have been a doodle made for sh1ts and giggles (coz :iconyoumuneplowell: randomly suggested that CPUs lay eggs), my hand slipped and now it's... well, this.
Long story short, Neptune's mommy died giving birth to Nepgear. I guess I would have expanded on this a little, perhaps even for writing a one-shot 'cause it sorta spawned a plethora of ideas: some of the other nations still in control of older CPUs, Planeptune being placed in Vert's temporary control 'cause Neptune was still too young, the doctor in charge with the operation being Compa's underrated grandpa, etc. Idk. Felt sad drawing this btw.

It really was messily done. I couldn't draw properly when whole scenarios were going through my head.
Like, say, *an image of a devastated Histoire once she's told that the doctors have to choose between saving the baby or Mom. *Histoire pleading with Mom to think about Planeptune's future, and being rebutted with why it was so bad to make one last selfish choice. *Little Neptune crying 'cause she couldn't understand why Mom was "leaving." *The whole of Planeptune and the other CPUs sharing their grief 'cause their good CPU's gone, goodness gracious
Figured that the story would end with a scene with a fast forward to present-day Nepgear asking Neptune, "What was Mom like?"

Let's see. Histoire might be being naggy to make it up to the Nep sisters. Planeptune may be afloat despite Neptune's laziness thanks to MommyNep's hard work. Neptune may be trying to be all peppy and cheerful to suppress the memories of Mommy Nep. Nepgear might be trying to be competent and responsible because Neptune's too busy livening things up.

You know... the little things... *Heads off to Lowee to cry*

Now I wish I had the time/motivation to write a one-shot based off these. Dang it.
