Welcome to the Farfetch’d appreciation corner, ‘cause I don’t know about anyone else but Farfetch’d is one of my absolute favourite Pokémon and my favourite Normal/Flying type. It’s a bloody madcap mallard waving a leek around: what’s not to luv? That being said, I’m absolutely disgusted at the lack of any further evolutions for this charismatic duck in either Gen 2 or 4, and using one in a team is always a bit sad as it eventually starts lagging behind.

Anywho, I’ve spent some time dreaming up a branched evolution for Farfetch’d here, where it either ends up digesting the nutritious goodness of it’s leek companion and evolves into the botanic peacock Outclass’d, or it won’t betray the bond they share and evolves into the honourable crane Outrank’d. And then there’s the smaller notion of an Alolan Farfetch’d that’s ridiculously fascinated by fruit.

And no, I don’t much care for Mega Evolutions.
