『田舎の味』ではなく『田舎の匂い』みたいなかんじだったんですよね。
かび臭いのとは違う、古ぼけた建物の中みたいな。
食べ物の感想じゃないですね(笑)

It didn't feel like "a taste of the countryside" but "the scent of the countryside". Not like a moldy stench, but like the inside of old buildings. Not exactly an impression of food, is it. :-)
