カラオケの鉄人は、各部屋のコンピュータから店内のセンターシステムに曲番号がリクエストされると、システムがカラオケ機器の空き状況などから判断してJOYSOUND、DAM、U-KARAのどれかを選択して曲を演奏するシステムです。
ですので、インターネットに接続する必要はないので、部屋の回線からはネットに繋がらなかったんじゃないかと推測してます。
LANのHUBも新たに買って持ってったのに、無駄になりました(笑)

At Karaoke no Tetsujin, when the computer in one of the rooms sends a request with the song ID to the store's central system, it will decide based on factors such as the system and machine availability, and choose either JOYSOUND, DAM, or U-KARA to play the song.

I guess that since this doesn't require a connection to the internet, the line in the rooms cannot do that.

I even bought a brand new LAN hub for this, but it was for naught. (lol)
