Description:

In a match between Terry and Geese, Terry finishes Geese off by kicking him off the side of a building himself off a building. Three hours later it was announced that Geese past away in the hospital leaving behind his only son, Rock Howard.

Rock learned the persons name that killed his father and sets off to avenge his father's death. He find Terry and challenges him to a fight. Terry smiles at Rock and accepted his request. Through the fight Terry senses a power within Rock that reminded him of Geese. Terry playfully beat Rock and sits down to talk to Rock wondering why he wanted that fight. Rock then tells him that Geese was his father and that he seeked to avenge his killer "which is you!" he shouted out.

Terry explains what had happen in the heat of the battle so that Rock can understand there was no ill will there and tells Rock, "lets stop this senseless battle" and puts his cap on Rock, "Let's be friends. You can call me, pops, son." and smiles at Rock.

After that day, Terry and Rock became as father and son. Terry started to train him daily to learn how to control his power during combat. Rock has traveled and saw an interesting fight between Terry and Ken and noticed Ken's son Mel in the crowed. Mel looks over and noticed Rock and in an instant they became rivals.

The following year, Rock was enrolled into a new school that was known for their many sports activities being that he was good in basket ball just as Terry was. First day in school his first period of the day was at the gym for a basket ball try out session. He walks in and caught eye to eye contact who he hasn't seen in a while, Mel Masters. Being on opposite teams for the try outs Mel and Rock spent their time showing off to each other until they were about to start a fight with one another. Sakura, their gym teacher jumps in and breaks up the fight.

Although she broke it up that time, she knows that this is going to be a new generation of fighters to come (she said to her self as she brought back images of Ryu) and smiles as they walked off.
