Monarch is the second ship of Orion class battleship.
During World War 1, she fought along with her sisters in the Battle of Jutland. Monarch is equipped with fire control system which is later used in other ships. In August 8th 1914, she is attacked with torpedo by German submarine U-15, but the torpedo missed.
In night of December 12th 1914, she crashed with her sister ship Conqueror when passing through Scapa Flow and is heavily damaged. After that, due to the 1921 Washington Naval Treaty, Monarch is retired and used as target ship in Sicilia. She sunk in 1925 by the cannon of HMS Revenge.
