So I finally got around to playing Super Metroid this summer. I was afraid after years of hype this game would disappoint in some way, but it's totally enjoyable and stands the test of time.

It actually allows you to think for yourself, encourages exploration and challenges you at every turn. All you have is your brain and controller and if you died and forgot to save, it's your own damn fault.

Games are too easy these days.
