Eye Contact
I went down a street I didn't normally walk along as a shortcut. The area was said to be desolate with little law and order but I thought there would be no problem cutting through in the middle of the day. When I headed down there were in fact next to no people nor vehicles and it was so quiet that you could faintly hear the sound of a radio or television. It was eerie but I thought that I should be able to pass through if I kept going. When I got to the end of the street I fancied having something to eat at Hayashi Rice and, looking up, something incomprehensible lept into my field of vision...
