I'd been planning to draw something that showed I could draw the actual pokemon, too. (Not just the trainers, though I must say, I'm biased toward them because they're easier in most cases.)

I was playing my blocky Gameboy Color, and wandered through Ilex forest again. I forgot that you can run into Paras there, so that became the focus of the drawing. I used three different textures and the color scheme from the old Sugimori art.
