I tried to upload some things, but I keep getting this error: "error: Net::SSH::Disconnect - connection closed by remote host." Can someone take a look onto this?
Same here as well, was working a while ago

I'm trying to change my danbooru email address, and upon attempting to do so it just gives the error "password was incorrect".
Despite me entering the correct password, and double checking that it is the correct password by relogging manually with it, I still get the error.
Is this a common issue, or am I doing something wrong?

are you sure the letter case is correct? if so, check also that the new email account is not associated with any other danbooru account. a danbooru profile should have a unique email address. or did you leave your current email blank?
There was a bug where email changes would always give the "Password was incorrect" message when they failed, even if the password wasn't the reason they failed. I fixed this for the next version so that it will say what the real problem is instead.
Until then my guess as to the real issue is would be that the email address has already been taken. That's a common issue.

Danbooru and all its mirrors have recently started loading extremely slowly for me, and images sometimes do not even load fully. I had my friend check from his end and it's the same for him as well. Is there something wrong with the servers or something?
Can confirm. I even tried proxies.
I can only suspect server migration or cutting bandwidth.

For me the site is loading quickly as it usually does, so I don't think the problem is with Danbooru's servers, at least not directly.
Does this problem you two are experiencing apply to both servers, http://hijiribe.donmai.us/ and http://sonohara.donmai.us/, or just one? And have you tried using a different browser? You also might want to ping Danbooru's IP addresses and see how fast they respond (use the commands "ping 67.202.114.134" and "ping 67.202.114.133"). Furthermore, does this problem apply to sites similar to Danbooru like http://gelbooru.com/, https://yande.re, etc?
Also the issue you two are describing sounds pretty similar to what was described in topic #9938. We never figured that out either though.

At the moment I'm having the same problem with all of the servers. Pinging the IP results in an average of 55ms with both of those IP's. https://yande.re and http://chan.sankakucomplex.com load as fast as normal and I've had no issues with them. Often I'll start loading a picture before my browser just gives up and times out, giving me a broken picture icon. Both Chrome and Firefox produce similar results, sometimes, even thumbnails don't load.
I have not tried proxies, though using other computers throughout the house and the internet on my phone gives similar results, isolating it to Danbooru. If it helps, I live in San Antonio, Texas. My friend in Millani, Hawaii is not having any problems.

Have you tried accessing Danbooru over HTTPS?
That likely has to do with the new autocomplete implementation in issue #2097 causing JavaScript problems in older browsers.
Toks said:
That issue with autocomplete was intended to be fixed in v2.42.1. Is the issue with notes still happening now?
I just checked and it's still happening. Notes don't appear over the image at all, though I can read them on the separate notes page. They work fine in newer browsers..

Can you post the errors from the javascript console? And which browser and version are you using?

There are a lot of warnings about unknown properties, but the only actual error is

The browser if FF 3.6.28, the last version before they disabled marking viewed images as read. I use it only for danbooru because that feature makes reading ongoing manga much easier. I suspect that browser is now too old to use, which is a pity.

I've been getting failbooru screens the last couple days. Windows 8.1 IE. Had no problems prior.
That would be the scheduled maintenance / data migration mentioned in topic #10313, topic #10314, and the closeable notice at the top of the screen.
