I can't help, but I would bet it's JavaScript woes --- since it rarely affects all browsers, I Google looked that up since that's very unexpected, nearest I can see quoting from another forum:

Ordinarily, website JavaScript interpretation capability is incorporated directly into each browser itself as an 'engine'. If IE, Chrome/Opera, and Firefox all have such a similar problem, it implies that the different JavaScript engine designs used in each of those products is failing to operate correctly, which is extremely unlikely to originate within the browser engines themselves. When such different applications share a similar problem, the cause typically lies within something in-common ahead of or associated with all of those apps: an anti-malware application or setting, a router issue or setting, an OS security block or access limitation of some kind, or some kind of malfunction within the OS that blocks some critical JS execution steps.

Starting to get a strange error on random 2-tag searches since today.

could not connect to server: Connection refused Is the server running on host "yukinoshita.donmai.us" (104.237.154.176) and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5433?

It doesn't happen for *all* tag combinations (I'm not getting this when searching azur lane and translated together, but Love Live with anything else, for example).

EDIT: also starting to happen when I try to click on My Account, or on any user's name for that matter, as well as attempting to look at the DText help.

I was about to report the same issue.

Something seems to be up with some features of the site for me.

Trying to use the "~" modifier for searching posts. Clicking on the "wiki" link on the top bar, clicking on the "my account" link all return a blank screen with:

This might be unique to me, but if not than there it is.

Gentlemen, thank you SO much for pointing the direction. It's definitely Javascript, I checked the console on a page with translations - it's all red and yellow.

I dare to ask you for a little bit more help. Simply put: WTF am I to do now? I am quite far from programming, though I can google and usually able to apply methods I find. So far it says that I need to debug my Javascript, but how to do it - I have no idea. I tried several articles and a built-in tutorial for DeveloperTools - it explodes mah brain.

Is there some other way to deal with such stuff? I guess, deinstalling and reinstalling Chrome is not going to help since other browsers have same problem?

Filed issue #3535 for this. Looks like one of the database servers went down. Any page that has to calculate tag counts, namely 2+ tag searches and profile pages, won't work. Pinging @albert.

I also added a comment on issue #3212, as this demonstrates a much bigger underlying issue. Namely, that there is no graceful fallback failure mechanism.

Please post a screenshot of the Javascript errors you're getting.

Opened through "unblockwebsite.net" since providers in my region have been blocking *booru sites for "h" content, but my troubles has started much, much later - I had not a single problem for for many months.

The proxy you're using, http://unblockwebsite.net/, is messing with Danbooru's Javascript and breaking it in the process. You'd be better off with a VPN, but if that's not an option you'll have to try different proxies until you find one that works.

You might also try Danbooru's other domain names, just in case your provider isn't blocking all of them:

On mobile (Android Chrome) but not on desktop (Windows 7, Firefox or Chrome), I'm having two issues.

1. Images are automatically resized. I have to tap "Resize to window" to return them to full size. In settings, I have "Default image width" set to original and "Fit images to window" set to No.

2. If I open a post's page in a new tab, the image doesn't load until I refresh the page. Thumbnails due to parent/child posts load fine, and thumbnails on a search page opened in a new tab load fine, but the main image on a post page doesn't load if it's in a new tab. Opening a post page in the current tab loads the image properly without needing to refresh.

I think both of these issues started in the past few weeks.

Created issue #3536 for the above 1st issue.

As for the second issue, I can replicate it, but I don't know what's causing it.
