Platinum commenting should be fixed now.
It indeed is. Thanks for getting it squared away.

This thread is for bug reports. You should post in topic #7934.

Question did we lose the 'X amount of moderators have looked at this image, Y have declared it not good enough' feature? Just kinda looking back and seeing a lot of 'Unapproved for X days' without any commentary.
Nope.
Example: post #2581233
If you were looking at post that are older than 1 month, then this message will disappear, though. But it has been always that way.
why can we only search two tags at a time?...why not three or four?...plus, were only aloud to post two comments an hour???...are you serious?...why not four or five comments at least?...there seems to be a lot of unnecessary things that this site has...things of which I believe this site never needed in the first place.
the comment hiding via downvote
the tag search limitation
the comment post limitation
and probably a few other things that I haven't come across yet that most probably need changing or erasing.
I just don't see the point in any of these rules and limitations.

If you want to view all comments then just go onto your settings page and set the comment threshold to an absurdly low value.
The comment limitation is only for bumping comments. If you tick the no bump checkbox then you can post more. This limit also serves as a protection against comment spam.
The tag search limitation is somewhat arbitrary but wanting to be able to use more tags is probably a significant reason for people to upgrade their account and thus source of revenue for the site (I know it was the main reason why I upgraded my account). Remember that if one of the things you want to search for is rating:safe then you can use the safebooru mirror site, which effectively gives you an extra tag to search.

Ahh wasn't sure. Since I still see often Unapproved with apparently no one having looked at it for multiple days.
If I get an upload failed with no one having ever looked at it. Is it worth throwing it through the queue again? I've kinda forgotten.

Don't reupload it, that's against the rules. Instead, post a link to the post (using post #nnnnnnn format) in topic #8554 and some approvers will take another look at it (no promises they'll like it enough to approve, though).

Is it normal to not see all users faving my upload or it's a bug ?
There was a feature quietly introduced a while back that lets users hide their name from the favorites list on the post page & doesn't show their uploads or favorites on their user page, among other things. It's called "privacy mode," and you can toggle it in Advanced Settings.

Although, when you go to such an user and on their profile, you can still see their uploads. But not the six thumbnail images.
I don't really see the point then for hiding the uploads then.
For privacy mode, these are the items I've noticed that are and are not hidden...
My privacy settings are on BTW
Updated
fav:brokeneagle98 and sub:brokeneagle should also be private. It has no real use for me and if the person doesn't want me to show their favorites on their profile page, then there is no reason I should be able to see them. Maybe may stll be able to watch them, but I doubt it has any use in modrating, so I'd say no user rank should be able to see this. Well, except albert if they are selecting new Janitors and if albert is going to use the favorites of that user).
But user:brokeneagle98 should be visible every time to anyone. It is posted on the regular page and there is also an option for flagging posts. So I don't see any reason to have that private.
Just as an idea, maybe this should be brought up on Github if this deserves further discussion.
I've created help:privacy mode, it's 90% a copy/paste of BrokenEagle98's post above. Please edit if you have more information to add or don't like how it's worded
Private favorites on posts aren't truly hidden, they're still accessible via the fav_string in the API through /posts/1.xml.
Frankly I don't really like the whole privacy mode idea. Favorites are public for a reason: when you notice someone with the same tastes as you, you can look through their favorites to find more posts you may like. You lose that if everyone starts making everything private. Historically nearly everything you do has been public anyway, so I don't see why that needs to change now.
Have to agree with evazion on this one. I think keeping privacy mode the way it is right now is completely fine. Abolishing it is a bit on the "ehh" side, but I'd rather that than a complete privacy mode. Sure we can have a help page for it describing what it does, but changing how it works just seems like a lot of trouble for users in general. I have the guilty pleasure of looking through some of my favorite users' favorites from time to time even with privacy mode on, and I honestly don't think they don't mind that much -- although I could honestly ask them in Dmail.
The privacy mode right now I think exists more for the purpose of "hiding" users from the favorites listing of uploads so others may perhaps not notice them for certain reasons. I, for example, have the obnoxious habit of favoriting/upvoting my own posts because I usually like whatever I upload. Maybe there's also the chance they don't want their tastes to be revealed, but quite honestly it isn't that disconcerting, given it can be nullified by the use of the favorites group feature (since they'd have to brute guess their way through the names you put in, which can vary from being simple things like "Weird Stuff" to "なにこれわかんねぇ").
Just my 2c on the issue, but I like it the way it is now. It is a not oft used feature that you can search through another user's favorites outside of linking to their profile page anyway.

It isn't really a problem of "no real use for me", it's "will it be useful to anyone else". Danbooru is a site for curating and sharing art. At any rate, privacy mode (if I believe it's being used for what it's for) is working as intended.

Well, what I meant by "me" is "everyone" :P.
But yeah, I only said that if we go with a private mode, then it should be done with consequence, that means nothing should be visible with any setting if it is hidden on your profile page. Well, except the things "you" are uploading. That should still be public to anyone (and probably also on "your" pofile page, although that isn't that important when it comes to "privacy" mode.
