There doesn't seem to exist a clear pattern. Tags with a few posts are affected but posts with a large number of posts are affected as well. Sometimes it works one day, the next it's broken and two days later it works again.

Two things seem to make it more probable to happen though:
1.) Tags that contain almost no recent posts, but only older posts seem more likely affected.
2.) Timeouts are more likely to occur when the site is under heavy load (Other errors / slow load times are also more likely in that case).

Funnily increasing the number of thumbnails per page with the limit parameter sometimes makes the database request faster and the search works (and not slower like one might expect).

That particular issue seems to happen to searches that have huge post id gaps in the results, which makes more work for the database. Notice for dennou_coil the posts ids go like:
2025129
1948053
1795566
1684945
and
1546802
1359933
1250724
1165303

Why changing your limit: affects it though, I dunno.

Another way to get around it is to use id: like this:
dennou_coil id:1500000..
dennou_coil id:1000000..1500000
etc

Edit: After waiting a bit tried to upload again and passed, so idk what was going on.

My upload limit recovers faster compared when I'm still a Member. I mean, I uploaded 15+ pictures on last 5 hours, and now my upload limit is almost fully recovered.
Is this one of the benefit for being a Builder or just an error?

There is an image that I appealed the deletion of earlier (Flagging was resolved and apparently appeals were successful) but it's now flagged again for extremely vague reasons. I want to appeal the flagging of the second reason but cannot edit or update my earlier appeal.

I'm not sure if this is a case of trying to prevent appeal abuse but this type of double jeopardy flagging seems problematic as people wanting to defend the image cannot once more step up to do so.

The appeals show up each time it's flagged. Your appeal should be "this is the reason it should be on the site" not "this is a counterargument to the flag reason"

Lately (like for 6 weeks now) I'm experiencing from very slow image loading. I first thought it might go away (poor routing / ISP) but unfortunately for me, this doesn't seem to be the case. I started checking some things:

The actual browsing of pages / pools / forum and anything else is super responsive (sometimes slow, but often fast). The problems begin when loading images (any image) or animations/videos. These feel and load like dial-up-modem era. Images slowly build up row by row. The animation is loaded frame by frame.

I tried also the subdomain hijiribe, similar performance. Ping reply seems also unusually high (150ms+)

Any people from Europe or specific NL having similar effect? (Ziggo ISP here in NL)

It seems I have problems appealing uploads.
I went to a post and clicked the appeal-button on the left bar where you can also edit postings or flag them. Flagging works just fine but everytime I want to appeal something and click on submit nothing happens at all.
I don't even get an error message but the window that opens just disappears and nothing changed.

Getting a nonexistent thumbnail for post #2262292 and the preview is reporting as corrupt but full image isn't corrupt Not sure what to do about it.

Thumbnail shows up for me. Dunno about the preview, it's lowres enough to always show full.

Not lowres enough for me, apparently; I get the same "Video format or MIME type is not supported" sample.

The reason it doesn't happen to some of you guys is because it only affects one server or the other, not both.

Am I the only one who has problems with the box that should appear after you have entered a letter.
For example if I type in "b" in the edit box there should appear the tags with the highest amount.
But sometimes this box doesn't show up...It's pretty annoying if you want to fast tag a picture :/.

Clicking Reply on a forum topic now redirects you to a new page with just a text box. I can't say I really like this change, as I do scan over some of the newest replies in order to craft a response.

There's an issue with the "A" and "D" hotkeys for posts that was brought up in topic #12554.

just discovered the new reports: top searches and missed searches. kudos to albert, Toks, Type-kun, and company. wondered if both are limited to single tags only? wishing popular tag combinations too since most basic and anonymous users are limited to this handicap of 2. or is the result just too low compared to single tags?
