Because it's not the supposed way to do so.
You can gently ask an approver if theya take another look via DM (although some may not be replying but you can send for example me some. Just make sure to stay gentle and don't ask while posts are still pending) or write an appeal reason. The reason this rule is in place is because the approval process shouldn't get hollowed out and images posted multiple times.

Maybe I was a bit harsh here but I found it curious you have suggested a rather long list of older posts, so something looked off there. I'm sorry for that.
