They're not the same. md5 mismatch is when the uploaded file's md5 is different from the md5 at the source, meaning the source is wrong or the uploaded file was modified. The bad md5 pool is for when the uploaded file's md5 is different from what danbooru says the md5 is, meaning danbooru did something wrong.
But yes there's no reason the pool can't be a tag.

As far as I understood by the forum link in the description of pool #5611 explains all the details as to why the pool even exists in the first place. Meanwhile the wiki to tsundere is fairly straightforward an explicit in terms of use.

yes but I've been editing the description over time and adjusting criteria to make it better wish someone would have said "you may want to change this or that"

Majority of that pool doesn't even have that tag. It also seems that the pool is more so one person is being overprotective towards another mainly for comedic purpose.
pool #223 (PNG Overkill): Mostly redundant with huge_filesize, and otherwise unnecessary.
pool #4125 I think is redundant as album_cover should be enough.

And why don't we cross the "touhou" out of the pool name and call it just "Music Album Art Collection", because you can just search for pool:4125 touhou.

And then shortly after someone will go "Why is this a pool? It should be a tag." You might as well take this reasoning to its final destination, since without it being narrowed to touhou, it is essentially a tag labeling that which is album art.

Seems like this should be covered by flaccid and after_sex/cum, though flaccid is underutilized and not tagged on most of the posts in the pool. Reversing the alias limp_penis -> flaccid might make it more obvious.

The only posts I found that we don't have a tag for are images, which were used as part of the actual cover art, or the full images that were later cropped to album cover resolutions.
