Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

Posted under General

Recently, I uploaded a comic in parts, but it and it's child posts weren't approved for some reason. Can anyone tell me why? I mean, I don't think it had anything offensive in it, and I thought it'd be pretty safe to post here on Danbooru. Was there something I didn't notice in the images? Did I do something wrong?

I am not really sure, but I see that there are message in your post telling you to make it into Pool instead?

It not being in a pool would not affect it getting approved. It's just advice for when uploading a comic or manga that's more than about 2-3 pages.

Something being deleted doesn't mean you did something wrong or that there's anything offensive in the post. It just means however many approvers it says didn't like it and thus didn't approve it. In fact, approvers can skip an image without leaving feedback if they want. So there's usually 2-3 more than the listing says that just silently skipped it.

For the actual comic, the art just ain't good. They got a severe case of "handsome shovel chin". post #4627853
Byleth could do landscaping with that chin.

I see. Personally, I uploaded it cause I thought it the comic was just pretty heartwarming (and admittedly, I was hoping someone could translate it), I didn't really think the artstyle quality would be taken that much into account. But well, maybe if I were to upload a better drawn one, it would have more chances of being approved?

There is a higher chance that approvers skip an comic image if it's not pooled.

Art is ter... below average. Almost resembling a bad parody of shoujo manga (you see that drawing style with the trademark "shovel chin" often in 'imagine spots' when a character starts acting dreamy). Actual comic and the text is... kinda sappy and mediocre too (IMHO).

I tacked on the artist tag and pooled them for completion's sake. And the commentary to provide the context. Though, sorry to say, they're are probably not going to be approved or translated.

The takeaway from this is that comics aren't autoapprovals.

Need some help.

I already told you to stop spamming, the very first rule given in the thread is "You are not guaranteed feedback. It is entirely voluntary to give it.".

Eh, well it is what it is I guess, nothing to do about it, but thanks for the feedback.

I see. How do I make a pool though? (Sorry, kinda new here). Asking cause I planned on uploading another comic (one that's hopefully better drawn in the opinion of approvers here), but don't really know how to make a pool for it (again, sorry if this seems like noob question).

Read howto:pools, then click on Pools in the top menu, then New.

Appeal Reason: Its in very good quality, and its very unique. I believe it deserves a chance!

The status of the appeal is visible to all and this is not the place to indicate such a request.
Although they are on my blacklist, I looked at them.
There are no complaints about the drawing itself, but it is specific. It can be attributed to this:

The following things are not strictly against the rules, but they have a much higher chance of being deleted than normal. Uploaders should be careful about uploading these things, and approvers should be careful about approving them.

Extreme fetish content. This includes extreme guro, scat, bestiality, vore, "hyper" fetishism (monstrously large body parts), diaper fetishism, and other extreme or unusual fetishes.
...
Bad anatomy.

The last point is clearly visible, the second I would refer to "hyper" fetishism (monstrously large body parts).
