AI-generated art check thread

Sorry about that. Something about her face, the strange crystal choice, and a bit of the hair hanging from the left arm just looked really off to me. The hair part especially looks disconnected, but upon closer inspection, it just lacks a visible outline so it just blends into the background.

Looking these over, they seem to be perfectly consistent with the artist's other works, and the faults you described are mistakes that any human artist can make. If there aren't any objections, I'm removing the ai-generated tags from these posts, as nothing seems to be out of the ordinary here.

You already asked about that post three weeks ago in forum #274828 and my reply is right below that.

Also AI-assisted. If you set the gamma to 0.1, you can see that some areas have JPEG artifacts because they were not redrawn. The redrawn areas have no artifacts at all. For example, the raised arm is full of artifacts but the hand has none. The most obvious tell-tale sign of AI involvement is the sock merging with skin on the right side, though. That nonsense would be enough to get a disapproval from me.

Thanks. Sorry, I forgot about the first one. I flagged both but they both got approved again. I thought the sock was the more obvious ai sign.

Obvious AI art.

I don't see any AI artifacts, but it sure seems like there's some AI involved on some level if you consider that their style keeps changing in a short amount of time
There's no way to know unless the artist shows some timelapse or a process that looks legitimate but I'm 70% confident that those brush stroke are legit

My theories are
1.They're legit and somehow managed to make big improvements in a short time, but the artist haven't found their own style yet, so they're just experimenting with different styles
2.it's traced and heavy reference from AI that using other artists's artstyle

Here's something to consider
- https://twitter.com/fur0ki/status/1681624758079684610 - This is their art from 9 months ago
Is it possible to improve that much in less than a year? Yes, but it's extremely rare

-post #7465503 /post #7465505/ https://twitter.com/fur0ki/status/1755183980540813586 - Completely different face shape/proportion these are posted in span of a few months

-post #7465503 have very ohisashiburi's face and lip (also look at that foot)

- novelAI V3 (the one that really good at replicating styles) was released around November last year, And Furoki's art quality happened to make a huge jump the following month

Personally, I lean towards the artist actually having some high-level skill but also using some AI and other artists for referencing (perhaps a bit too much) while still not having their own defined style

Pretty sure their latest images are mostly painted over AI, there's human-looking brushwork at the forefront but things go wack in the blurry/out-of-focus parts of the picture.

post #7465504 strikes me as the most egregious in linework difference between the face and rest of the body + BG. You've got the typical AI clean but inconsistent linework on the body, vague floating materials and back hair barely distinguished from the water itself, then the head looking almost headshop-level out of place with super thick consistent strokes. The tweet got deleted too. In all likelihood the artist tried incorporating AI into their pictures and is backtracking now that they're getting significant traction.

Similarly, the face in post #7465503 looks fine while the ribbon around her hip, the rope in her hair, and foot are an illogical mess in a way that'd require a human to go out of their way to fuck up instead of simply rendering it less.

There's also a lot of weird inconsistencies like only the right side of post #7486376's jacket being properly layered and colored blue on the inside (plus the hem folding like a hood on one side and like a regular lapel on the other?), which might as well be human oversight, but feels iffy in combination with the above.
