AI-generated art check thread

Posted under General

The posts under andyleeyuan. Looking at the media tab in their X, a lot of it seems very suspect (and not that I would trust X replies, but they get called out for AI frequently).
EDIT: Just checked their Pixiv account and the posts are all tagged as AI-generated. Pretty damning.

I'm very sure that all posts under iconcawaiine except the oldest one are generated with NovelAI, or at least ai-assisted. Mainly because some images contain the stealth NovelAI metadata that wasn't removed. https://files.catbox.moe/3ahhdw.txt is the log file with metadata extracted from some of the images, the other images were either too modified (jpg or e.g. edited further) or the metadata got too corrupt. Had to modify https://github.com/NovelAI/novelai-image-metadata a bit to detect corrupted metadata. I will tag the ones that I'm 100% sure about (that have metadata) as AI, the others - I'm not sure if they're AI assisted, but most of them have 832x1216 res.

Missed two more, here's their metadata: https://files.catbox.moe/sbghm3.txt (post #8441855 and post #8309514)

Updated

This might be me overthinking a ton, but I think that lots of newer images from kotatsu-mazoku are AI-assisted. For one example, take kotatsu-mazoku glasses brown_hair - three different (but very similar!) arts of his same OC character, yet in each one the clothing is a bit different, and the hair color is different too! I'm not an artist, but I think than a real artist would draw consistently, right? Of course it might be actually be the artist drawing different ones each time, but this is also a common feature in AI services - image variations, or just generating from a single (complete enough) prompt that you get similar, but different images.

Another example: post #8464963 and post #8464585, if you quickly swap between those you'll see that they're almost the same exact pose but the hair color differs for some reason.

Also too similar but different: post #8464948 and post #8464914

Some other random post: post #8451599 the zipper here looks very weird.

And yes, I do see that the posts of the OCs are far more variable than defined characters - this could be, again, because the artist is experimenting, or because image models generate existing characters (if you can generate with their character name tag) far more consistently than unknown characters.

Tagged as AI-assisted but doesn't look that touched up to me, especially with the twintails.

typical random line blurs here and there, the bad perspective with the background, the left leg disappearing behind her arm even though it should at least be visible at the knee
and especially the "sand" around her right knee looking like it was mistaken for a bed by the AI
Way too much to assume any level of retouching that counts enough for ai-assisted
