Related possibly useful tidbit: when convering large parenting sets to a pool, one can use child:none on the parent to quickly unparent everything.

The "high-quality" in this ought to be changed to just "curated" because very few posts uploaded by unres or approved by approvers nowadays can really be called "high quality".
