I disagree with removing the banned_artist implications as the artists are still banned even if none of their works are on the site (perhaps as a result of hard deletions or something?).
+1 to everything else, although it's probably only a matter of time until a zokuowarimonogatari tag gets put into use, and it will want implicating when it is, so that one might be worth leaving as well?
A couple of those empty implications are also a result of the tag being moved or renamed (eg. blimp balloon's move to kite balloon and the original yuzu tag's renaming to yuzu (fruit)) but the implication staying on the existing name. I agree fully with removing the implications in these cases, but shouldn't a new implication be made at the same time from the current tag?

If an artist's work is double-deleted from the database and all links dead in their artist entry (if they even have one, or if it was hard-deleted), then there's no real reason to keep the implications around anymore since even on an older work there'd be no way to confirm it without an artist lookup. Currently this would only hold true for gyao (dead pixiv). Natsuki Kazuki's pixiv is still alive even if the entry is deleted and the same goes for yena xeno.
I thought that the Banned Artist entries might be controversial...
In the interest of pushing through the rest, I've removed those entries from the above BURs. What to do with Banned Artist entries probably deserves its own thread anyways.

Those tags that could eventually be populated should have to pass the minimum requirements just like every other implication, but what do others think on this?

All new aliases/implications should go in their own thread. To be most effective and to avoid delays due to arguments, this thread should remain purely a dealias and demplification thread of dead aliases and implications.
Could go in either discussion, I think. Type-kun's original post is a little bit behind, and this one is more up to date, so I would prefer to talk some out here.
Due to topic #14200, I realized that there could also be superfluous implications, i.e. implications that are unnecessary since one of its descendants implicates the same tag.
Huh... I was wondering why my script didn't pick out the above... then I went back and checked and street fighter zero 2 and street fighter zero 3 have a raw count greater than zero. I wonder how many other implications were missed...? I'll go back and fix aliases with antecedents that have a raw count greater than zero, then run the above check again.
