revolver

A gun that has a single barrel and a rotating cylinder that contains multiple rounds (usually five or six). The cylinder revolves as the weapon fires.

Revolvers should normally be tagged with handgun, as most typically are. However there are rare examples of revolver rifles, shotguns, and even grenade launchers like the Milkor MGL.
