stg45
The StG45 (Sturmgewehr 45) was a prototype German assault rifle which was developed in very late stages of World War II, firing 7.92×33mm Kurz round. Using roller-delayed blowback mechanism, it became the development basis for the CETME and G3 rifles.
The weapon is visually recognizable by its tubular forearm, lack of external gas piston rod and tall rear sight block.
This tag also applies to all variants of the StG45, not only the original Mauser-designed StG45(M).
