Do we really want to have 19 pages of rifyu comics? They're all about as good as post #853379: terribly drawn and horribly unfunny. I'd motion to kill all of them, besides perhaps the very best, if there even are any.

What you've just done was a blatant abuse of power just now. You only allowed maybe some 2 hours to go by and then going with just only two opinions you nuked an entire tag. You didn't allow anyone of an opposing view to have input before proceeding. You didn't even allow people to potentially search the tag to pull up things that perhaps could have been kept.

When a tag is to be nuked, we should always give a large amount of time for open discussion before proceeding (or until an Admin shows up). 2 hours is completely inadequate to foster any sort of discussion or give room to people who may want to voice their opinions.

To have proceeded under these conditions was despicable, and you should be ashamed of your actions.

I'd have waited more if any of the replies were anything less than an enthusiastic approval. I don't have a trace of doubt that I don't want those pictures on the site and object heavily to the fact they were approved. I apologise if you're offended by it and think it an abuse of power, but for me it was pretty clear that these have no place on danbooru and I wasn't wrong in my thinking so.

I completely agree with Renim, and I would take what he said into consideration for the future if you ever plan to nuke another tag.

But on the topic I vote yes to the nuking of these comics.
(guess it doesn't matter, just wanted to show that I agree with 葉月's opinion.)

I would've waited a few hours as it's kind of early in the morning(at least in my area), and many people missed out on having their say about the matter. But yes, they were bad, and probably shouldn't have been approved at all.

Rifyu's comics are drawn badly on purpose. The style is called "heta uma", or "bad/good".

Anyway, I don't see why they should be deleted just because one person doesn't like them.

Being drawn in an odd style wouldn't be a problem if they were any good otherwise (see bkub). But these are just terrible no matter how you look at them, they lack any resemblance of funniness whatsoever.

Okay, and why exactly would you want to keep them? They're just as bad as the rest. There's no joke in any of them, it's just a collection of four random panels. I don't care if it's done badly on purpose or not, we still have four hundred of those, and I could draw another four hundred which'd be just as funny. I want to know why we should systematically pollute the database with hundreds of crappy yonkomas.

The hell? You aren't the only one who gets to decide what stays on Danbooru. Suddenly nuking a tag with two hours warning--not even sending them back to the queue--because two people agreed is crazy.

I disagree with the nuke as well. I think the comic is hit and miss but at the least it should have been flagged rather than nuked.

But I don't see this being a decision that will be undone.

I concur the nuke wholeheartedly (art, story and jokes are bad), although not the method it's been done.

Jesus Christ, that's ridiculous. Why did you even go through the pretence of creating a forum thread?

Many of those posts went through the approval process, there's no reason we should be arguing this from a delete by default point of view. That you don't personally find something funny is not a good reason to nuke a tag without discussion.
