While i largely disagree. I'm probably of the few population of Danbooru members that keeps up with Ricia's Touhou Universe setting. Its really quite good. That pool was originally made for Ricia's universe in fanart. But later got diluted to people just adding in a "Young sakuya". I bet most of those guys never read Ricia's work.

Part of the problem is that it was never linked in a translated state for people who don't know Japanese. That's probably what lead to the dilution.

Thats true. I put a link to the Japanese site but ofcourse, most people coming here don't read japanese. Another thing that actually kinda got me angry was that someone edited the description i put and added "Also for any pictures of Young Sakuya". I was like "WTF?!"
I put it on my "Translation to do list" and just still havent got to it lol. I still need to finish up the ChomeChome series and Honyuusai series. Man i'm such a lazy bone haha. I really would love to share it with other touhou fans though. Don't quote me on this, but I do believe cirno-nee was born from Ricia(リーチャ). And post #374359 is a direct fan-art of his touhou universe. Little sakuya wearing her "Official" black dress is proof, not to mention Ricia adds some fan-art of his universe in his videos.
ちっこい咲夜さん started off as an experiment for Ricia and later on grew into its own thing. Kinda similar to Chibi-miku and Life of maid.
Although i was tempted to "clean-up" the pool, i figured "Well, if the majority of people...."(Sorry for mild rant)

You misunderstand the problem. The concept to pool Rica's works was good, it's the pollution that killed it. 2 months after being reported and still no one bothers to clean the pool - it's out. What you could have done before it got deleted:

  • Edit the pool description.
  • Toss out the generic, unrelated young Sakuya pics.
  • Slap the one who added "Also for any pictures of Young Sakuya" in the description.

Also: translation has never been, and will never be, required for stuffs to be pooled.

... Seriously?

IIRC, I guess it's an echo of a sentiment that led to a "This got approved?" pool a long time ago. I can't say for sure, but I think it had something to do with people being unable to flag posts for deletion.

Anyway, the pool was nuked and this one should be too.
