I do only tag costumes. I'm wading through the remodel tag, and literally my only interactions with skins has been to fix that damned mess. I'm posting all these things here because, while I'm wading through this bog anyway, I might as well fix messed up tags I come across when I come across them, instead of waiting on anyone else to do it. So, since I had found images of that costume while gardening the remodel tag, the costume warranted a tag and an implication.

Thank you so much for deleting the costume tag off the images I had found for it, and ensuring they won't be found again.

On a related note, is it okay to rename "Tsuyu" to "Rainy Season"? I think there were concerns about the former term in this thread and what it means may not be apparent.

EDIT: In the case of Kinu and Abukuma, their costumes were seen on Lawson clear files. Same can be said for Yura, but the same costume is seen on another clear file for the Maizuru stamp rally (asset #24884318), so I went with that nomenclature. Can also be counted as her Valentine costume due to post #3779229.

It should be Rainy Season. It's inconsistent that we use English for the spring/summer/autumn seasons but Japanese for rainy season.

I am thinking ushio_(autumn_2015)_(kancolle) would have been labeled as ushio_(saury_festival)_(kancolle) since that is what it is labeled on the Kancolle Wiki despite not referencing sauries or fishing. It is for that reason I did not label any year to Ushio's current autumn costume.

It does indeed seem bizarre to label a skin as "saury festival" when it has no visual references to saury or fishing. In any case, I labeled it "autumn 2015" since that's what it's labeled on Ushio's page here on Danbooru.

Yuubari's mechanic skin from the anime never got it's own tag. Since it's a new skin, figured I should make a separate BUR rather than adding it to my gardening BUR. Let me know if that makes a difference or not; if it doesn't, then I can just add new skins to active BURs rather than making new ones.

Akashi also has a number of skins without tags, but I'll let MaskedAvenger take care of those unless I encounter them first while gardening.

If that's the case, you can rename the current "autumn mode" to "autumn 2018" instead of just "autumn" for consistency with your nomenclature of the earlier one.

I have to ask this after it got approved, if this is a look she got from the anime, why are none of the posts tagged with Kantai Collection (Anime)? This would be one of the things that tag is for.

Because people didn't recognize it was from the anime. I only found out it existed when I noticed a brief line in her wiki about her being a mechanic in the anime. I added an example image for it, then Historyanon made a tag for it. This outfit was difficult to find because none of it was tagged with the anime, and the wiki described it as orange overalls when in fact it was normally tagged as a jumpsuit.

This points to the issue with using copyright tags to identify outfits; if you don't recognize the outfit, and there's no dedicated tag for it, then you won't know it even exists to add the copyright tag.

This shouldn't be taken to an extreme, but for something like this where the anime is secondary material and many people aren't aware of which outfits come from it, I think it's fine.

I was just surprised, since this feels like one of the things that copytag would explicitly be used for. And checking its creation, it seems it was literally made for these anime-only outfits, per forum #115973, with additional reasons given in topic #15571. If not even KanColle taggers are willing to maintain upkeep on that tag anymore, then what's the point of its existence, especially now that it covers several anime projects?
