Slightly related, but I feel like it'd be somewhat useful to be able to search for posts with deprecated tags. It wouldn't be of much practical help with the large tags, but might help with the smaller ones since people can use it to easily clear out specific copyrights, characters or users.

Why not volunteer to clean them up yourself then instead? At least with evazion doing this, it makes sense since he's the webmaster and is attempting to force users in general to clean up what they deprecated, but not you.

I don't think it's a great idea nor the intention to just use this thread to dump old deprecated tags here. People are going to be busy with the first ones, adding more onto the pile is just actively contributing to making a tough task impossible outright.

Bumping this gave the wrong kind of attention to it. Could we please not take a mile out of the inch he gave?

The point of this thread was that evazion was considering nuking old deprecated tags that hadn't been cleaned out before and decided to follow through, starting with the four set in which he's providing a window of 30 days to do any gardening before they're gone outright. Therefore, anyone seeing this thread knows that there's an "urgency" to getting these particular ones fixed up.

The point is NOT to start hard nuking every single old deprecated tag at one go and obscure the priority task list at hand. If you want to contribute, please help with gardening the ones evazion set out a BUR for or, if you see an old deprecated tag, then work on getting it replacement tags instead of creating a BUR so the information on the post isn't lost.
