BUR #34856 is pending approval.
create alias high-low_dress -> high-low_skirt
Per wiki and majority usage, high-low_skirt covers both skirts and dresses, but there's 40 or so posts tagged with high-low_dress instead.

I'd much prefer to see high-low_dress populated and removed from high-low_skirt. IMO, it's never a good idea to have one tag that encompasses both skirts and dresses - imagine if skirt_lift or frilled_skirt was for both at the same time.
That is also an option, although I think that will take manual gardening.
I am aware of skirt_hold and skirt_basket which also currently combine dresses and skirts. There may be others.
I support the proposal to create an alias for "high-low_dress" to "high-low_skirt" because, according to the Wiki entry and the majority of its usage, "high-low_skirt" is already widely recognized as encompassing all high-low hemline garments, including skirts and dresses.
Merging the two helps simplify the tagging system, reduces confusion, and avoids redundancy, thereby improving the efficiency of tag management. This approach aligns with existing conventions and user expectations, also making information categorization more unified and straightforward.

When almost every single one of our other x_skirt tags are ONLY for skirts and not dresses, then it does the opposite. Bucking this much more established trend is already causing confusion, as evidenced by high-low_dress' creation.

skirt_basket might be one of the few exceptions, as it's not so much tagging the garment as it is the act of using an imprompteu basket. As for skirt_hold, I tried to fix that in topic #28175, but the BUR was ignored and autorejected despite its almost completely positive reception.
